TidBITS License Plate Photo
Thanks to our friend Dave Marra for this photograph, which he took on the road (we're assuming he was a passenger, of course) in Pennsylvania. The question is: is the owner of this Volvo one of our most loyal readers, given the TIDBITS license plate and the Apple sticker, or is this just one heck of a coincidence?

I've always wanted to get MYSELF a TidBITS vanity license plate. :-)
Feel free! :-)
it looks like the driver took this photo. Not a good thing, dude.
Or the passenger while overtaking ..
At least the driver wasn't on their cellphone.
Perhaps it was the passenger of a right hand drive vehicle. :)
Where was this taken? At first glance, I'd guess the Pennsylvania Turnpike or some similar old expressway.
I wonder what Dave's plates read. My vanity plates are 4VR MAC..... Bet there's lots of other good ones among the daily readers of Tidbits.
Given how widespread the use of the word 'tidbits' was before this blog came into existence, I would say that the possibility of a connection is very slim.
I have always found it fascinating to see how people first use a word in common currency, and then, over time, come to act as though they are the only ones to use the word.

Given how widespread literacy is, I would say the chance of this commenter getting a joke is very slim.
Adam penned this humorous item because of the Apple sticker on the car, not merely because of the license plate.

Hi all!
Yes, I was driving in Pennsylvania, somewhere in Lehigh county I think, and no, I did not take the pic all on my own. ;-)
Glad everyone liked it! Thanks!
