More PIMs, Now

More PIMs, Now — Late last month, Adobe and Now Software announced that Now Software would take over the development, marketing, and support of Adobe’s DateBook (for both Mac and Windows) and TouchBase personal information managers. The applications, which don’t fit with Adobe’s product focus, came originally from Aldus, and before that from After Hours Software. The move gives Now Software an immediate foothold in the Windows market, and users can expect an easy migration to Now Software’s future product offerings, such as data and file compatibility with its more-powerful Now Up-to-Date and Now Contact.
