PowerMate 1.5 Released
PowerMate 1.5 Released -- Griffin Technology has released PowerMate 1.5, an update to the software running its eerily popular $45 multimedia controller (the "shiny knob" we wrote about in our Macworld Expo San Francisco 2002 superlatives article. New in this version is emulation for Volume Up, Volume Down, and Eject keys; a Global Only setting; and a Long Click user action, as well as a few minor fixes. PowerMate 1.5 is available in versions for both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, and is a 3 MB download. [JLC]
