Turn Word 2008 Notes into a To-Do List
In the Word 2008 Notebook Layout View (View > Notebook Layout View), bring up the Formatting Palette (View > Formatting Palette). Look for the Note Flags section in the Formatting Palette. Select the flag type, type in your reminder or even assign yourself an Entourage 2008 task. Check off your to-dos once the task is complete.

| iPod 1.2.6 Update Fixes Battery Drain
For several months, many iPod owners have reported dramatic decreases in battery charge, minimizing the music player's vaunted 10-hour playing ability. Now, Apple has released iPod 1.2.6 Software Update, which more accurately gauges the battery charge so the iPod does not prematurely shut down. Apple claims that the update offers longer standby time for all iPods and increases playback time on scroll-wheel models. Separate updaters are available for Mac OS X (5.2 MB), Mac OS 9 (6.2 MB), and Windows (12.6 MB).
